These Terms govern your use of BriefDeck (the “Service”), operated by BriefDeck, Inc. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you’re using BriefDeck on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
1. The Service
BriefDeck generates AI-assisted sales meeting briefs by reading data you authorize us to access through OAuth — your calendar (Google or Microsoft 365), email, CRM, and call transcripts. The output is a synthesis intended to inform your meeting preparation. You are responsible for the actions you take based on a brief.
2. Your account
You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your authentication credentials secure, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Plans, billing, and trials
New accounts begin on a free plan. Paid plans are billed in advance via Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current term unless required by law. Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.
4. Acceptable use
- Don’t use BriefDeck to violate the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits.
- Don’t share your account credentials with people outside your organization.
- Don’t reverse-engineer the Service, scrape it, or use it to build a competing product.
- Don’t connect OAuth credentials you’re not authorized to grant.
5. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you connect to BriefDeck. You grant us a limited, revocable license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. AI-generated content
Briefs are produced by large language models and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or out-of-date information. You should verify any specific claim before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any brief for a particular purpose.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may schedule maintenance, throttle abuse, or suspend access for security reasons. Where reasonable we’ll notify you in advance.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from Settings or by emailing hello@briefdeck.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination we delete your data per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material we’ll notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
